Pump.fun Brings Back Live Streaming For Some Users

Pump.fun, the Solana-based meme coin launchpad, has reinstated its live streaming feature for 5% of users after suspending it due to inappropriate content. Co-founder Alon announced the relaunch on Friday, with improved moderation systems and transparent guidelines in place.

Moderation Is Key

The Solana-based meme coin launchpad’s new content moderation policy clarifies prohibited content, including violence, harassment, sexual exploitation, child endangerment, and illegal activity, while still encouraging creativity and freedom of expression.

It’s worth mentioning that NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content is generally allowed on Pump.fun as long as it doesn’t fall under the prohibited categories.

Final Authority

Pump.fun reserves the right to remove content deemed inappropriate and take action, with violations resulting in stream termination or account suspension. Users can appeal content removal, but the platform has final authority on enforcement.

The live streaming feature was suspended last November after several types of harmful content, including violent threats and sexually explicit acts, aired on the platform.
